When it comes to things like nano science and energy there are some very smart scientists, one in particular that I like to read, has some brilliant research papers about collecting the ambient vibrational energy out there. In looking at some of his designs and how he mixes engineering, nanotechnology, and vibrational energy and frequency together makes me wonder if we are looking in the wrong direction when it comes to energy generation, or energy collection and conversion. I have an idea, something I’ve been working on in my mind for quite a while, and although I’ve only written a few articles about it, I think I have figured out a cool new concept.
My idea goes something like this; take carbon nanotubes all engineered to a specific size, all connected to each other in a parallel fashion. Then put copper atoms inside of each carbon nanotube. And then shave off all the carbon nanotubes at exactly the same height and fit in with a graphene coating over the top. This taunt film or coating will hold the copper atoms in, while it vibrates from the energy and ambient vibrations all around. This means you could collect energy very easily, and could perhaps put this composite like structure on the side of the house, barn, roof, aircraft hangar, high-rise, or any other number of structures. The goal of course is to collect energy.
Since these carbon materials conduct electricity fairly well, it would just be a matter of plugging in an electrode and using it as a power source. Imagine that, what if it worked? All we need is for those copper atoms that bounce around inside and it certainly wouldn’t take very much. All of those carbon nanotubes together would be collecting a substantial amount of energy, and those carbon molecules in those structures would allow us to move that energy and use it as power.
It should be fairly easy to get a visual concept of how this might look in your mind. Yes, there might be a few challenges, but as we get better with NanoTech, and engineering at the nanoscale, all of this should be possible. Further, such a coating or system would be fairly strong, much stronger than other types of composites, plus we get to have the energy. Indeed if you’d like to discuss this at a much higher level you may shoot me an e-mail, perhaps you would like to add something to this innovation or energy collection concept. Until then, I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
New Production Arrangements and Greater Popularization of Science
New arrangements emerging to a new production chain based on applied science. But for that, there is still a need for the greater popularization of the sciences. How much the biosciences profits Loses annually by lack of popularization? Questions like: how much do biosciences lose annually in knowledge, advancement and income because of the lack […]
